Taurin is a San Francisco Bay Area native. He traveled south to San Diego for his university studies, majoring in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. Yes, those two subjects are different. Professionally, he spent a decade at Google in Mountain View, New York, and Chicago. His expertise is in systems and site reliability engineering but he dabbles around in pretty much the entire stack.

Taurin enjoys photography and only recently started testing the waters of videography.

In his spare time, Taurin enjoys sampling different styles of cuisine and trying to recreate his favored flavors at home. He usually fails in mimicking tastes but usually discovers something else that is surprisingly pleasant.
